Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you use CornerClaim, we collect: your account information (name, email address, and a securely hashed password, or your Google account identity if you sign in with Google); the claim details you enter (property address, insurer and adjuster information, claim number); and the documents and correspondence you upload or paste in (adjuster emails, insurer letters, policy excerpts, photos or PDFs of mailed correspondence).

How we use it

We use what you give us to process your claim: extracting key dates, deadlines, and outstanding items from your documents; tracking that information on your claim dashboard; and drafting response letters for you to review and send yourself. We don’t use your claim documents for anything beyond running the CornerClaim tool for you.

Sharing with third parties

Your claim documents and correspondence are stored on our platform and used only to process your claim — extracting deadlines, tracking outstanding items, and drafting your letters. We don’t share your data with any third party unless you take an action that requires it. We’re a small, early-stage tool, and we’re upfront that we haven’t yet published a formal privacy and data-retention policy — that’s real, in-progress work, not something we’re claiming is already done.

Third-party services we use

To operate CornerClaim, your data passes through a small set of service providers, strictly to perform the function we use them for:

• Anthropic (Claude API) — processes the documents and correspondence you submit to extract claim details and draft letters.
• Stripe — processes the one-time $99 claim payment. CornerClaim does not store your full payment card details — Stripe handles that directly.
• Resend — sends transactional email (such as password-reset links) on our behalf.

Data retention

We do not yet have a formal data-retention policy. We’re disclosing this honestly rather than inventing a retention window we haven’t actually decided on. If you’d like your account or claim data deleted, email us and we’ll handle it directly — see “Your choices” below.
